Hey I’m Chris!

First off, I’m an avid trail runner, skier & mountain biker and when I’m not working you can usually find me recreating near my home in Los Angeles or chasing powder in the Rockies!

I hold a dual BFA in Cinematography and Creative Producing from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, which has instilled in me a strong acumen for story craft and development. I was accepted to the MFA program at the American Film Institute as a Cinematography fellow, but chose to start my career instead. I thrive in creative high pressure situations. Organization is my middle name, I’m an excellent communicator and I do my best work when given a problem to solve! My charisma, work ethic and understanding of this business has been invaluable in equipping me for any and every project. I have worked extensively in remote locations with years of experience in narrative, commercial & documentary filmmaking, specialty camera rigging and drone work. I have traveled to and worked in over 50 countries, and most recently I’ve been traveling the world as a cinematographer on multiple award winning shows for Amazon, National Geographic & CBS.

In addition to being nominated for three Prime Time Emmy Awards, I am a member in good standing of IATSE ICG Local 600 as well as an active member of the Society of Camera Operators. I also hold my FAA Part 107 drone license. Looking forward to meeting you soon!
